This programme is for students aged 20+ in their final year, doing elective modules or a gap year, needing experience in the different areas of our work.
With clear aims and objectives students must successfully complete the induction process with a clear understanding of setting and completing objectives for both their academic study and placement. This will give insights into their area of research, glimpse of processes are implemented in developing countries, room for further research or opportunities within the charity.
Students will be provided with an:
Student Induction Pack
Initial Workshop
Action plan of tasks with aims and objective
A debriefing session on return
Accommodation, transport and food in the host country
Students will be expected to:
Fundraise their own flights
Adhere to all polices and procedures
Successfully pass clearance checks
Fundraise where possible with own college or universities.
