Our Mission is simple ‘To Touch and change Lives’ and there are many ways in which you can get involved, we are also open to suggestions and fresh ideas that fit into our ethos and mission. Above anything else we encourage active participation it is not about numbers, growth or money every little effort helps to make a difference in the lives we wish to serve and change.

Our aim is to organise two main trips to India in the months of February/march and September/October , this fits well in terms of acclimatising and allowing us to meet our given objectives of the trips. The duration of the trip is individual choice from 14 days to 3 months. Our exchange programmes coincide with term times that have additional arrangements.

Donations

In the modern world we have busy lives and many responsibilities, one of our main purposes is to include people from all walks of life to be part of the experience, part of the smiles of the children we help, be part of something AMAZING.

So when you wish you give a cheque or transfer funds into the account, look at ways of being part of the process.

We are encouraging and advocating the younger generation to go out and look at practical ways of fundraising, this would bring communities, groups and people together for a worthwhile cause. Schools and children can also be part of journey  to put a smile on a child's face on the other side of the world.

It’s not the amount you give but HOW you raise the funds.  This is why we do not stipulate recommended amounts.

Did you know?

In some third world countries households are living on less than £1.20 day. We can promise all donations do and will go to those who need them most.

Hope and Compassion has financial controls in place to ensure that all funds spent abroad by ourselves and our partner organisations are authorised and spent directly on charitable purposes.
